MCAD - College Intern

This position is part of our Signal & Power Solutions segment; Connection Systems business unit located in Juarez, Chihuahua.

Summary (About this Position):

Utilizing NX CAD software and CS drawing standards the designer will create and modify Housings and other plastic components for Flow 3 and 4 activities

Your Role (i.e. Key Job Responsibilities):

The CAD Technician will be expected to design/analyze electrical centers meeting customer requirements as well as following Aptiv design and robustness standards. CAD Designer will also assist in development of new design standards, participate in Robustness Reviews and undertake any additional tasks/projects as needed per MCAD supervisor.

• Actuate and Timely creation/modification of CAD 3D models
• Analysis of components - Mating Checks
• Design progress meetings
• Reflection/Improvement projects
• Workload management

Your Required Background (i.e. Must Haves):

• Bachelor's degree in progress under Engineering fields
• Mechanical preferred
• Print Reading Skills
• Knowledge of Dimensional Tolerancing}
• Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Project, Excel, Outlook, Skype, Teams, Visio, etc.)
• Intermediate English
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with a strong ability to work with a team
• Availability to work from Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 3:30pm.
• Current student in last semesters
• RFC (Mandatory).
