Job Title/High-Level Position Summary: As a Mechanical Egnineer you will work closely within a small dynamic team to complete a number of small to large projects. You will be assigned projects with details, requirements and deadlines where you will use your engineering, design, drafting and testing skills towards completing projects and overcoming challenges. You will participate in daily technical meetings to review project progression, performance of team members and recourse management. This position will serve as great transition from Education to junior level for a young professional to further engineering skills in an array of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take direction from team lead or project manager to perform min-projects in direct support of bracing development activities and verification testing
• Applying engineering fundamentals to practical problem solving involving design, manufacturing, and validation of test methods and test set ups.
• Create 2D/3D CAD models and technical drawings files in accordance with company drafting standards
• Support design verification testing, including writing test protocols, overseeing test progress, providing direct input in test activities and preparing test reports at completion
• Technical writing in support of design inputs, design outputs, qualification activities, quality and regulatory requirements
• Contact outside suppliers related to design activities

Minimum Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical or Biomedical)
• 1+ years of related experience or recent master's degree in engineering
• Demonstrated, strong mechanical aptitude
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Demonstrated SolidWorks experience or other CAD software tools

Travel Requirements:

Should be flexible to travel up to 5% of time

Desired Characteristics:

• Experience with Solidworks or equivalent CAD tools is highly preferred.
• Creativity, communication and teamwork skills.
• Time management abilities.
