We are seeking aMechanical/Plumbing Designerto join our team. In this role, you will contribute to the design of mechanical and plumbing systems—including heating, ventilation, cooling, exhaust, gas, potable water, sanitary sewer, fire suppression, and specialty systems—across a variety of projects, including retail, industrial, educational, government, healthcare, multi-family, and commercial buildings.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Protection systems
• Produce high-quality AutoCAD and Revit drawings with accuracy and attention to detail
• Perform heating and cooling load calculations using software tools
• Generate energy code compliance certificates
• Complete duct and pipe sizing and learn applicable codes and standards
• Develop technical specifications and data sheets
• Participate in Building Information Modeling (BIM) using Revit
• Conduct fieldwork, inspect installations, and assist in problem-solving
• Perform calculation checks and review vendor drawings
• Create computer models to simulate energy usage
• Visit construction sites with engineers and designers
• Collaborate with product representatives to select equipment and obtain budgetary pricing
• Coordinate with all A/E disciplines to ensure seamless project execution
• Guide drawing sets through plan review and coordinate with plan reviewers
• Acts as a resource for training or assisting others as needed.
• Assists with developing, establishing, and maintaining relationships with strategic partners and customers in support of business development and/or pursuit activities.
• Proactively seeks opportunities for continuous learning and understanding of industry software, including Revit, Bluebeam Revu, and Microsoft Office Products.
• Supports and is responsible for project coordination activities such as managing emails, coordinating scope and schedule, attending client meetings, ensuring project quality, responding to client questions, and coordinating project delivery.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
• Education:ABET-accredited engineering degree or 5+ years of A/E/C experience
• Attitude & Initiative:We value character, drive, and a strong willingness to learn above all else
• Technical Skills:Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Bluebeam; Revit
• Licensing:Passed or willing to take the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam; E.I.T. Certification desired for candidates with an engineering degree
• Project Management:Project management experience desired

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
