About the role
The Media Activation Manager is a member of the Digital Investment team. They will work closely with integrated planning teams to bring holistic, strategic media plans to life. As a key agency contact, he/she works closely with clients and internal/external partners, ensuring streamlined communication is achieved through proactive day-to-day management of activation-related campaign work.
Some of the things we'd like you to do:
- Display an understanding of media fundamentals including interest across digital and traditional media
- Work with Supervisor and team to activate on holistic media strategies for assigned bodies of work
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams including client services, planning, creative, strategy, analytics, finance etc.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and partner agencies at appropriate level
- Maintain close vendor relationships and stay abreast of new offerings
- Collaborate with teams to form strong RFPs and vet potential partners
- Work with activation team AAMs and counterparts to ensure timely launches, flagging potential roadblocks to Supervisor and AD
- Work with AAMs to create trafficking sheets, pacing docs, and Prisma media plans to build IOs
- Manage partner delivery and flag issues to Supervisor, including potential optimizations for underdelivery
- Help with financial reconciliation, ensuring partners deliver invoices on time
A bit about yourself:
- 2+ years' experience at an advertising or media agency in an activation role, digital planning experience a plus
- Ability to work in a team environment that promotes collaboration; but also capable of working independently when needed
- Exceptional verbal & written communication skills - ability to think on your feet
- Strong work ethic – highly organized and diligent
- A confident self-starter who is solutions-oriented
- Demonstrates accuracy and attention to detail
- Thrives in fast paced environment
- Experience with media planning and buying tools like Media Tools, Media Ocean including Prisma, DCM, familiarity with DSPs, etc.
In New York City, the base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $70,000 to $140,000. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility and qualifications.
