JOB SUMMARY:
The Media Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of paid social campaigns. This includes developing, managing, and reporting on social advertising strategies supporting various media plans. This person collaborates with the media planning/buying discipline to bring innovative strategies and solutions to clients.

This role can be remote or a part of our Chicago or Detroit office.
* While our offices are currently open, daily in-office attendance is not required.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage day-to-day activities and workflow of paid social media campaigns across accounts
- Develop innovative approaches to strategically reach target audiences and hit defined success metrics
- Responsible for execution and final QA of approved plan into social platforms, including all campaign component, prior to launch (budgets, bids, targeting parameters, etc.)
- Assess media performance and actively optimize campaigns to ensure client objectives are met
- Work with other teams (ex. Planning, Analytics, Ad Ops, Account, etc.) to ensure all campaigns are seamlessly executed
- Assist with agecy social media business growth through new business wins and/or organic growth Set strategic principles and roadmaps for client social initiatives, based on objectives
- Communicate with vendors to help with campaign strategy, testing initiatives, alpha/beta access, etc.
- Creation and delivery of client presentations
- Responsible for recommending campaign adjustments based on performance trends, including adjustments to current activations, as well as strategic roadmapping for future campaign iterations
Requirements
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3+ years of paid social media experience
- Master of paid social platforms including Meta and LinkedIn. Prefer experience with X, Snapchat, Pinterest, YouTube, Reddit, etc. as well. This includes a solid understanding of each platform's core features, as well as a technical understanding of each network's advertising capabilities
- Ability to strategically and manage build campaigns based on client objectives
- Experience handling marketing budgets and developing insights based on campaign results
- Love of social media, be an active user, and have a passion to stay in the loop on the latest social media trends, capabilities and platforms
- Self-motivated, well-organized and assertive, with strong analytical and deductive skills
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills for effective client relations
- Team player - dependable, respectful, and communicative
- Fun & positive attitude
The hiring range for this discipline within our industry is $60,000 to $90,000. Where an employee is paid within this range will depend on multiple factors including, but not limited to location, years of experience, education, internal pay structure, and other contributing factors.
