Hourly Pay Range:

Medical Assistant (MA) - Primary Care

Position Highlights:

• Position: Medical Assistant

• Location: Niles, IL

• Full Time/Part Time: Full Time

• Hours: Rotating hours

• Required Travel: Travel to other sites based on department need

What You Will Do:

• Greet patients and escort them to the exam room

• Document vital signs, allergies, medications, and reason for office visit

• Provide front office support as needed

• Perform basic vitals such as BP, height, and weight

• Perform phlebotomy and injections as required

What You Will Need:

• Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience (required)

  • Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program (preferred, not required)

• Certification:

  • CPR certification through the American Heart Association (required)

  • Medical Assistant Certification (AMT or AAMA) (preferred, not required)

• Experience:

  • Minimum of one year of work experience (required)

  • Previous experience in a medical office or related field (preferred)

  • On-the-job training provided for those without prior medical assistant training or experience

• Unique or Preferred Skills: N/A
