USGP is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technologist to join our team in supporting active-duty military personnel, veterans, and their families at the Naval Branch Health Clinic in Mayport, Florida. This is a meaningful opportunity to serve those who serve our country, while building your own rewarding career within a federal healthcare facility.

Position Highlights:

• Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Compensation: $35.00/hour + Health & Welfare Stipend

Qualifications:

• Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related
• Graduate of a NAACLS, ABHES, or AMT-approved
• Certification:
• Current certification/registration with ASCP or
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association or military equivalent).
• Experience:
• Minimum of 12 months of relevant clinical laboratory

Immunization Requirements (Must be current or able to obtain):

• Hepatitis B (series and titer)
• Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis)
• MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)
• Varicella (Chickenpox)
• TB (Tuberculosis) test
• Seasonal Influenza (flu) vaccine
• COVID-19 vaccine (if applicable)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a wide range of laboratory procedures across disciplines including chemistry, urinalysis, hematology, serology, microbiology, and
• Evaluate specimen integrity and prepare samples for accurate
• Prepare reagents, calibrate equipment, perform quality control procedures, and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.
• Analyze and interpret test results, ensuring accuracy and
• Maintain records for quality control and assurance in accordance with lab standards and protocols.
