Medical Officer

Mission Statement:

This is a Medical Officer role which will be based in Mysore location. This role will support the occupational health, HSE team and location management in conducting health and well-being programs.

Your Responsibilities:

• Management of OHC independently. Provide healthcare & clinical services to all employees of the company.
• Take responsibility and manage occupational health centers- staffing, vendor management, documentation, ambulance management etc.
• Management of hospitalized cases - good network with hospitals and doctors.
• Knowledge of factories act and Risk assessments. To adhere to all statutory, legal and audit compliances.
• Management of incidents.
• Conduct pre-employment, periodic health checks, trainings etc.
• Disease outbreak management- provide consultation, manage hospitalization etc.
• Conduct vaccination drives and other health initiatives as directed.
• To implement all medical services and activities advised by Country Occupational Health Advisor in alignment with company policy.
• Ethical and high level of integrity is expected.
• Well versed with Ergonomics and Industrial hygiene assessment.

• MBBS degree preferred.
• 5-7 years experience, preferably in big corporates & manufacturing industries.
• AFIH /DIH certification is mandatory.
• Fluent in local language.
• Good in written and verbal communication.
• Good in computer - MS office.
• Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
