Job Description

The Member Services Manager is the primary customer service contact for member inquiries, and supports membership retention and engagement goals by personalizing the membership experience with additional touch points. This person is also responsible for the implementation of projects related to furthering the member retention activities tied to TPA's strategic and operational goals. This position will build TPA’s retention activities. A detail oriented professional with experience in member acquisition, retention, administration and non-dues generation. • Day to day administration of member records, reports, member access to resources and data integrity. • Coordinate communication with members, non-members, key constituents, committees and leaders. • Account management Essential Duties and Responsibilities To perform the job successfully, the individual must be able to do the following and other duties as may be assigned: Membership Development 1. Maintain member and non-member database and related resources. • Manage member and non-member database content quality. • Perform daily data maintenance to ensure quality and integrity of data. • Conduct quarterly data updates, imports and purges to ensure quality and integrity of data. • Coordinate member outreach initiatives to update contact and profile data. 2. Develop comprehensive member acquisition, retention and renewal programs. • Respond to member inquiries and service requests and perform active follow-up to ensure member satisfaction and increased member engagement. • Coordinate marketing communication messaging, collateral and distribution. • Manage marketing efforts related to membership initiatives. • Manage monthly dues processing. • Create a targeted marketing plan to build retention. • Keep members up to date on member benefits through communications. • Analyze membership types to derive targeted membership campaigns. • Reliably produce membership reports, respond to membership inquiries, and manage member data linkage to website and other 3rd party platforms. • Analyze data on lapsed members and report findings. • Support member engagement tracking and utilized data to develop services to enhance members’ professional needs. • Support strategic goals by increasing membership recruitment outreach and assisting in the development of attractive benefits for targeted prospects. • Assist in the preparation/execution of membership surveys and evaluations. Administrative Support for Membership Groups 1. Serves as Staff Liaison for the Academy of Independent Pharmacy. 2. Serves as Staff Liaison for the Academy of Student Pharmacist. 3. Provide administrative support and management for the House of Delegates. 4. Coordinates communications, marketing and provides staff support to the Local Affiliates. 5. Support other committees, task forces, groups as assigned.
