Full-Time | Rotating Schedule | Hybrid (after training)
A leading local managed care organization is seeking aself-motivated and compassionate Member Services Representative (MSR)to join their high-performing call center team. In this role, you will be the frontline support for members-helping them access essential services, solving problems in real time, and connecting them to the interdisciplinary care team.
What You'll Do:
•
Handle high-volume inbound calls (approx. 60/day) from members and providers
•
Assist members in accessing covered and non-covered services based on their plan of care
•
Coordinate appointments with physicians and healthcare providers
•
Perform data entry for service authorizations
•
Help members select providers to improve health outcomes
•
Communicate professionally via phone, email, and chat in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment
What We're Looking For:
•
3+ yearsof experience in a healthcare call center or customer service role (face-to-face experience is welcome!)
•
High school diploma required;Associate's degree preferred
•
Bilingual in Mandarin or Cantonese required
•
Comfortable in a high-volume, high-pressure environment
•
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•
Tech-savvy with basic computer, Microsoft Word, and Excel skills
•
Compassionate, energetic, and courteous - especially when working with vulnerable populations (elderly, disabled, chronically ill)
•
Must reside in NY, NJ, or CT
•
Strong home internet and a quiet, professional remote work setup required
Work Schedule:
•
Flexible shifts: 8AM-4PM, 9AM-5PM, 10AM-6PM, or 12PM-8PM
•
Must be available to workweekends and holidays on rotation
•
Training includes2 days remote corporate onboarding, followed byin-person department-specific trainingand shadowing
•
This is ahybrid role- after training, you may be asked to report to the officeup to 2 days/week(though often less)
This is more than a job - it's a foot in the door.Member Service Representatives are cross-trained for calls, emails, and chat. You may also support outreach campaigns and special projects, offering strong potential for long-term growth.
