Job Description

Poway Weapons & Gear (PWG) is looking for an enthusiastic membership Client Advisor who will be responsible for identifying and enrolling new members while also helping to retain existing members. The client advisor position nurtures relationships with existing members so that they will invite their friends and colleagues to join PWG as well. In addition, the Client Advisors attend community events to help recruit new members. Compensation: Base salary range of $40,000 - $50,000 withuncapped upside commission. Past membership sales associates have exceed their base pay with commissions. PWG’s Indoor Range is one of the country’s premier indoor shooting ranges and the largest indoor range on the West Coast. At 42,000+ square feet, 42 lanes and three separate ranges – 25, 50 and 100 Yards- PWG Range is the third largest indoor gun range in the nation. We currently serve over 5,000 members with membership plans ranging from $15 to $10,000. PWG is looking for an enthusiastic membership associate with a passion for providing 5-star customer service to join our team. A positive attitude and team interaction are essential traits for our client advisors. Applicant must be congenial and sociable while providing the upmost professional behavior to manage our high caliber clientele. Job Requirements · Two years internal/external sales experience required. (Must be verifiable) · Proven track-record of sales performance. · Ability to work weekends, weekdays and holidays (Retail hours are 10am-10pm) · High-energy, outgoing personality. · Outstanding written and interpersonal communication skills are a must. · Strong technical literacy, including Microsoft Word and Excel. · Diplomatic team player able to foster relationships with Members, employee partners and other community leaders. · Creativity, attention to detail and strong organizational skills. · Applicant must exhibit a professional appearance. · Applicant must possess a passion for providing high quality Member service and commitment to exceeding expectations. · Resolve complaints made by the members or customers. · No criminal record that disqualifies you from being around firearms. Experience/Education · High school diploma required or GED · 2+ Years Sales Experience (verifiable) · Firearms knowledge a plus, not requirement · Past membership type sales experience highly desirable Physical Requirements: · Must be able to frequently lift up to 50 pounds. · Must be able to stand for extended periods. · Repetitive motion required including computer entry. Responsibilities: - Market and promote membership programs to potential customers - Negotiate and close sales deals with prospective members - Analyze customer needs and recommend appropriate membership options - Develop and maintain relationships with existing members to ensure satisfaction and retention - Conduct outreach activities to generate leads and expand the membership base - Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective promotional materials - Utilize technology platforms to manage customer information and track sales progress Qualifications: - Fluent in Spanish (written and verbal communication skills) - Proven experience in sales, preferably in a membership or subscription-based industry - Strong ability to analyze customer needs and provide tailored solutions - Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills - Self-motivated with a drive for achieving sales targets - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team - Knowledge of business development strategies and techniques - Familiarity with outside sales and the ability to conduct face-to-face meetings with potential clients - Comfortable with technology sales, including technical product knowledge Join our team as a Membership Representative and be part of a dynamic organization that offers growth opportunities, competitive compensation, and a supportive work environment.
