Open six days a week, 12 months per year, the 102 year-old, member-owned club has 1,100 member families. Job Summary: Timuquana Country Club is seeking a Men’s Locker Room Attendant. A men’s locker room attendant at Timuquana Country Club is responsible for providing exceptional services to the Club’s members, their families and guests. The position provides both food and beverage service as well as ensures that all locker areas are kept clean, stocked and organized. The position works in tandem with the golf professional staff to anticipate and customize needs to each member. Essential Duties, Responsibilities, and Expectations: (Other duties may be assigned) • Greets all members and guests in a friendly and warm manner. • Provide efficient and attentive food and beverage service following Timuquana standards. • Learn food and beverage menus and be able to explain preparation of items to members and guests. • Knowledge of wine, beer and spirits. • Tour guests of members if needed and familiarize them with the locker rooms, wet areas and amenities provided. • Maintain bathrooms and showers by inspecting them hourly for cleanliness and proper paper and towel requirements. • Keep air fresh and pleasantly scented throughout Locker Room and wet areas. • Ensure all amenities are appropriately filled with labels facing forward and organized. • Fold and neatly stack towels. Remove soiled towels to appropriate club areas. All laundry pick-ups/drop offs must be counted and documented. • Clean and shine shoes following the Club’s standard. • Complete end of shift walk through and readiness for the following team member/day. • Assist the golf professional staff with placing any items/needs in members lockers. • General dusting of shelves, baseboards and mirror and window cleaning should be completed regularly. • Assists locker room manager with locker assignments, nameplate changes and billing adjustments. • Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism. Ideal Qualifications, Abilities, and Principles: Education & Experience • High School diploma or equivalent is required. • Must have a valid Driver’s License. • Experience in Spa Locker Room, Private Club, Hotel or Resort and a CPR & AED certification preferred (club will cover cost for certification during annual safety training). • Prior food and beverage service experience preferred but not required. • Must be able to speak and write English. • Must be professional in manner and appearance and have excellent communication skills. • Ability to work as a team member and be able to enjoy working with people. • Must have good judgment and attention to detail. • Positive attitude about people, position, co-workers and employer. Has genuine care for seeing others happy. • Ability to work any day or shift, weekends and holidays included. Availability: • This position is available for full time or part time individuals. Candidates must be willing to have flexible schedules and must be willing to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Shift will differ in length. • Ability to work weekends and holidays are a must.
