MEP Construction Project Manager [Data Center]

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. This specific project is a Data Center facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management and project coordination, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires effective communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities to navigate the complexities of construction environments. Duties • Lead and manage all phases of construction projects, including planning, execution, and closure. • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met. • Develop and maintain project schedules using tools such as Primavera P6 and other construction management software. • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. • Prepare and review contracts, change orders, and project estimates using Bluebeam and HeavyBid. • Manage project budgets, track expenses, and provide accurate forecasting. • Facilitate communication between stakeholders to address any issues or changes in project scope. • Review blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate implementation on-site. • Utilize ProCore for documentation management and project tracking. Skills • Proficient in construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Civil 3D, and HeavyBid. • Strong understanding of construction estimating principles and practices. • Excellent project scheduling capabilities with a focus on time management. • In-depth knowledge of construction site experience and safety protocols. • Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively. • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing contracts and documentation. • Proven ability in project management and coordination within a construction environment. • Effective communication skills for liaising with team members and stakeholders.
