MEP Project Manager

Our client is a large Builder Looking for an MEP Project Manager for projects in NYC and New Jersey. MEP Senior Project Manager • Assist with managing all aspects of design and construction for MEP components of building projects. • They will serve as an owner’s rep on all projects and review blueprints and drawings for all designated projects, including providing comments and take-offs. Provide comments oriented towards value engineering, construction feasibility, completeness using g industry knowledge and experience. • Manage Construction phase of projects - track and manage performance of subcontractors against established project schedules and budget. • Follow established guidelines and procedures to increase communication and overall efficiency • Participate in the design and pre-development phase of construction projects • Build and maintain relationships with consultants, and contractor contact and leads • Prepare well-written reports and business correspondence • Administrative duties may include: meeting minutes, team updates, building inspections, permit tracking and commissioning • Additional duties as needed • Bachelor’s degree in construction-related field • A minimum of 15 years’ experience working in design and/or construction of Mechanical Plants • Must be able to commute and work from office and field locations, as needed • Background in general construction is a plus • Team-oriented; prioritizes the success of team above own interests • Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings • Proactive attitude when tackling issues that arise • Balances team and individual responsibilities; contribute to building a positive team • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously • Follows instructions and responds to management direction; commits to long hours of work when necessary to reach goals; completes tasks on time or notifies appropriate person with an alternate plan. • Proficiency in CAD software, Adobe products and Microsoft Office Suite a plus Salary $150,000-$225,000 #IND2 #LI-DT1
