Metal Fabricator/Welder

We're looking to fill a position for a skilled and experienced metal fabricator for our shop in Georgetown. We are a small shop and pride ourselves on our work. Typical projects are one of a kind furniture and architectural metal fabrications. Check out the type of work we do at pivotmetal.com or on our Instagram @pivot.metal. This is not a production job. Every project is unique and demanding. Most of what we do is fit and finish. We don't weld all day but TIG welding skills are required. Required skills: -Ability to read tape measure and work within 1/32" tolerances -Self awareness and ability to work cautiously in luxury homes -Must be able to read shop drawings in plan, elevation, section, and details -Ability to use angle grinder to remove welds without gouging base materials -Workspace cleanliness, maintaining shop organization Desired skills: -Experience TIG welding (2 years min or WABO cert preferred) -Knowledge of lathe, mill, shear, and/or other applicable machinery -Patina experience Please email resume and examples of work.
