Metal Hose Welder

Overview We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various welding techniques and be able to work effectively in a construction site environment. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work with precision tools, and a commitment to maintaining safety standards while producing high-quality work. Duties • Operate welding equipment and tools, including but not limited to MIG, TIG, and stick welding processes. • Assemble and fabricate metal structures according to specifications and blueprints. • Utilize plasma cutting techniques for precise cuts on metal components. • Work with press brake machines to shape and form metal parts as required. • Rig materials safely for lifting using cranes or other equipment on construction sites. • Conduct inspections of completed welds using calipers and other measuring tools to ensure accuracy and quality. • Collaborate with team members to assemble ductwork and other metal installations as needed. • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety protocols and guidelines. Skills • Proficiency in various welding techniques including soldering and assembly of metal components. • Experience operating press brake machines and plasma cutting tools. • Strong understanding of construction site safety practices and procedures. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. • Familiarity with rigging practices for safe material handling on job sites. • Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Physical Demand: Must lift up to 50lbs.
