Metal Saw Machine Operator - La Mirada, CA

Hadco is hiring aSaw Machine Operatorin ourLa Mirada, CAfacility.You will be responsible for cutting bar stock of aluminum, stainless steel, and other alloys to meet customer specifications. Work Schedule:8:00 PM – 5:00 AM, Monday-Friday with the option to work 1 Saturday per month. Role & Responsibilities: • Operate metal saws to cut 13" stainless steel plate, often 3 machines at one time. • Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements. • Ability to work with quality inspection tools including micrometers and calipers and perform basic dimensional tolerances. • Monitor machine operation for continued accuracy throughout cutting processes. • Prioritize workload to meet customer requirements and company performance goals.Requirements: Minimum Requirements: • Math skills, including measuring with fractions and decimals. • Ability to stand, sit, bend, stoop, and stretch. • Ability to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly. • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. • Detail oriented and able to multi-task. • Familiar with basic computer systems. • Minimum 18 years of age.
