Exciting Opportunity:Microsoft O365 Application Administrator

Your Impact:
As a member of the Information Technology team, the O365 Applications Administrator is a key communicator, facilitator, and driver of integration across the Inglis organization focused on expanding and improving the O365 and SharePoint online collaboration platform and serving as an operations expert and liaison between IT enabling our organization to collaborate and communicate efficiently while leveraging the full potential of Microsoftβs cloud-based productivity suite.
What You'll Do:
Under the direction of the Sr Director of Help Desk and Applications, the O365 Application Administrator will manage the administration, development, and support of the Office 365 application and SharePoint environments and play an essential role in the development of strategies for its optimal use. Key responsibilities of this role will include collaboration with IT systems analysts and cross-functional teams to configure, implement, and troubleshoot SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, the Power Platform and other O365 solutions that drive adoption and productivity across the platform, as well as publishing, evangelizing, and training on best practices and governance standards.
The O365 Application Administrator will work closely with the O365 Infrastructure Administrator in ensuring that the SharePoint and O365 application environments meet the identity, security, and compliance requirements set forth by the IT Infrastructure team. Together, both O365 Administrator roles will be responsible for managing their respective change control process, performing routine application monitoring and maintenance, managing support contracts and billing, and participate in the research, testing, and implementation of product releases, operational enhancements and version upgrades with respect to O365 applications. As coverage requires the O365 Administrators will also collaborate with IT staff and the Help Desk to serve as 2nd level support for basic requests and issues per the standard procedures of IT and participation in the after-hours on-call rotation will be required.
What We're Looking For:
β’ Minimum of five (5) years of increasing experience in a mid-level enterprise environment (200+ employees) with career progression from a support analyst or development background, and proven experience in SharePoint or O365 administrator, architect, analyst, or development roles. Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate, or Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator are a plus
β’ Expert knowledge of SharePoint Online architecture, best practices, and administration with deep understanding of intranet content management principles and practices. Familiarity with modern development methodologies and third-party SharePoint tools and add-ons. Experience with development of SPFx web parts and extensions are a plus.
β’ Expert in Teams and OneDrive administration and modern collaboration best practices with a track record of successful user adoption. Proven experience promoting the migration of file storage and departmental workflows to Teams, and tailoring Teams environments to meet dept needs through automation and integration with other O365 or third-party apps. Familiarity with Viva Connections and customizing Teams for front-line workers is a plus.
β’ Solid understanding of Microsoft Power Platform apps (Forms, Power Automate, PowerApps and Power BI and environments and proven experience using Power Automate across the O365 suite to improve workflows, notifications and automation. Experience in building PowerApps custom canvas apps or Power BI datasets and dashboards are a plus.
β’ Experience using Office 365 administration and integration tools and technologies such as PowerShell scripting and automation, HTML, JSON, APIs, C#/.Net, and SQL Server. Familiarity and understanding of the administration tools in the Azure portal, Purview portal, and the Entra portal.
Pay Rate for this Role:$70k-$85k/ Annually
