The Opportunity:

HARAMAIN SYSTEMS INC. is seeking a Mid-Level Data Analyst for a W2 role to join our analytical team. The successful candidate will turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions. The position requires a market analyst who can provide insight into the stack of data we produce to help make better decisions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
• Working alongside teams within the business or the management team to establish business needs
• Collecting and interpreting data, analyzing results and providing ongoing reports
• Defining new data collection and analysis processes
• Developing and implementing databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality

Desired Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics
• Proven experience as a data analyst or business data analyst
• Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
• Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages, databases (SQL etc.), programming (XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworks)
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

Nice-to-Haves:

• Master's degree in relevant field
• Experience in data models and reporting packages
• Ability to analyze large datasets
• Experience in project management
• Familiarity with data management tools including SQL, Excel, and similar software
