Middle Data Sciencist

We are seeking an expert Data Scientist to join our team. In this role, you will work with multiple data sources (e.g. ticketing system, marketing platform, databases, etc.) to gain valuable insights and provide a basis for decision-making. You will collaborate with various departments within Fourth to ensure data is extracted, processed and analyzed accurately, effectively and efficiently, and fulfills the business need. We expect that you will build experiments and POC that will lead to accomplishing the end goal.

What will you do?

• Develop models for data analysis and prediction
• Perform exploratory data analysis to identify patterns and trends
• Apply machine learning and statistical techniques to analyze data
• Identify business opportunities through data analysis
• Collaborate with other IT experts to optimize data processing workflows
• Create prototypes, POCs and models to validate data analysis

Required skills and experience

• Expertise in data analysis and working with complex data sources, including strong experience with SQL databases
• Broad knowledge of forecasting models and machine learning methods such as
• Churn Prediction 
• LLMs
• NLP(e.g. Sentiment Analysis, Topic Modelling, Named-entity recognition)
• Proficiency in predicting/recognizing trends and patterns from data points of various sizes
• Proficiency in ML Programming Languages (e.g., Python, Pandas)
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, focusing on achieving the end goals

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cloud-based data science platforms
• Understanding of data visualization tools and techniques
• Background in statistical analysis and mathematical modeling
• Knowledge of API Scripts and Tools (e.g., JSON etc. on Mulesoft, Apigee)
• Familiarity with Multi-dimensional Databases (e.g., Essbase, Anaplan)
