Ideal candidates will be able to contribute their time and talents to student instruction and additional after-school programs and projects. ***PA Certified and/or highly qualified teachers with ideally 3- 5 years of experience are only accepted *** Key Responsibilities: • Develop and implement lesson plans that meet curricular goals and standards in mathematics, including arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and data analysis. • Use a variety of instructional strategies and technologies to enhance student learning and engagement with mathematical concepts. • Assess student understanding through formal and informal methods, providing targeted feedback and interventions as needed. • Cultivate a classroom environment where students are encouraged to explore, question, and apply mathematical concepts. • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in math education. • Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school-wide initiatives to promote mathematical literacy.
