Your Role and Responsibilities
As Midlevel Frontend Developer you will join a team focused on developing internal tools for automation analytics reporting and proactive activities to help our Technical Support engineers deliver first class remote and onsite services. The individual we are looking to hire is person with a adequate experience in the area was part of development teams on bigger projects and have experience in a dynamic development environment. You will be exposed to interesting challenges and the most important thing the outcome of your work will benefit thousands of users within the IBM company.

Responsibilities:

• Write and maintain code assist with the running of the code on IBM Cloud
• Assist in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to coding standards
• Perform L3 support of the code as it runs on dev and prod environments
• Update security vulnerabilities
• Stay up-to-date with the latest React and TypeScript trends best practices and technologies
• Learn understand and document the high-level design of the microservices

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience as a Software Developer Software Engineer or similar role
• Proficiency in TypeScript React and Redux
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Experience with cloud-based development
• Fluency in English – both verbal and written

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Bachelor in Computer Science Engineering or a related field
• Server side knowledge preferable in Python
• Experience in building and consuming REST apis
• Experience in relational databases
