Job Description

MIG WELDER & FITTER Monday - Friday 6:00 am - 4:30 pm $20.00 -$30.00 per hour JOB SUMMARY As a MIG Welder & Fitter, you will be responsible for producing high-quality welds in a safe, efficient manner while adhering to industry standards and specifications. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, team-driven environment. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine welding requirements • Perform MIG and TIG welding on steel and stainless steel components per specifications • Set up and operate welding cells for serial production runs • Follow and assist in maintaining Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) • Ensure all welding work meets safety and quality standards • Operate machinery and assist machine operators as needed • Assemble components according to supervisor instructions • Maintain a clean, organized work area and properly care for equipment • Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and ISO/OSHA standards • Collaborate with team members to improve workflow and efficiency • Prepare finished products for shipment • Lift and move raw materials, parts, and finished products manually or using hoists JOB REQUIREMENTS • High school diploma or equivalent required (welding certifications a plus) • Proven experience with MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux Core welding techniques • Ability to read and understand blueprints and welding symbols • Strong knowledge of welding procedures, materials, and safety practices • Familiarity with welding equipment and routine maintenance • Experience working with steel and/or stainless steel materials • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour Education: • High school or equivalent (Required) Experience: • MIG welding: 2 years (Required) • Blueprint reading: 1 year (Required) Work Location: In person
