As a Migration Specialist, you will be responsible for executing data migrations for our clients, ensuring seamless transitions from legacy systems to our advanced software platforms. Your expertise in data handling and migration processes will directly impact customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and oversee data migration projects, ensuring timely and successful execution.
• Analyze legacy data and prepare it for migration while ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
• Collaborate with clients to gather requirements, understand their existing systems, and tailor the migration strategy accordingly.
• Use migration tools and scripts to extract, transform, and load data into the new system.
• Conduct thorough testing of migrated data to confirm completeness and functionality.
• Provide post-migration support, assisting clients with any issues or questions that arise.
• Document migration processes and create technical guides for clients to facilitate their understanding.
• Stay updated on industry trends and new migration techniques to provide innovative solutions.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in data migration, ETL processes, and data analysis.
• Strong technical skills in database management systems, SQL, and data transformation tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining data accuracy and integrity.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and internal teams.
• Ability to manage multiple migration projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Familiarity with cloud-based solutions and software applications is a plus.
• Professional certifications related to data migration, databases, or cloud solutions may be advantageous.
