MIG/TIG Welder

We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our client in Austin, Texas. The ideal candidate will have experience welding various metals, including stainless steel, while ensuring precision, strength, and quality. Responsibilities: • Perform MIG welding on various metals according to blueprints, specifications, and shop drawings. • Set up welding equipment and select appropriate filler materials. • Ensure welds meet quality standards and perform inspections for defects. • Operate fabrication equipment such as saws, grinders, and press brakes as needed. • Read and interpret technical drawings and work orders. • Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA regulations. • Collaborate with the fabrication team to complete projects on time. • Troubleshoot and repair welds as necessary.Requirements: • 1-2+ years of MIG welding experience in a fabrication shop or similar setting. • Proficiency in welding steel and stainless steel. • Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols. • Experience using grinders, saws, and other metalworking tools. • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality welds. • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various positions. • Welding certification(s) preferred but not required.Pay: • $28-$33 based on experienceSchedule: • Mon-Fri 8am-4pm#I08
