Milling Machine Operator

What You'll Be Doing • Operate milling machine for asphalt and concrete pavement removal in highway and heavy construction settings • Coordinate with foreman and ground crew to execute precise milling per project specs • Perform basic maintenance and safety checks on equipment before and after shifts • Adjust cutting depth and speed settings for optimal material removal and site safety • Maintain awareness of surroundings, traffic control, and team communication to ensure safe operations What Are We Looking For • Proven ability to safely operate milling machinery in construction environments • Familiarity with machine controls, grade control systems, and mechanical procedures • Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and communication • Capability to work long hours in variable outdoor conditions • Responsiveness to project timelines and flexibility to travel between job sites Conditions of Employment • Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check • Must be authorized to work in the United States Work Environment • Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
