Job Description

As a Mission Cybersecurity Engineer III, you will be using your skills and expertise to design, test, and implement our secure operating systems, networks, security monitoring, and tuning. You'll be responsible for the management of our IT security systems and applications, incident response, digital forensics, loss prevention, and eDiscovery actions, conducting risk and vulnerability assessments, and developing and implementing security controls. You'll research, evaluate, and recommend new security tools, techniques, and technologies in alignment with our IT security strategy and introduce them to the enterprise.

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $104,827.91 - $144,138.38

Must-haves:
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Network Engineering, Information Technology, or related Engineering discipline and at typically 6 or more years of relevant experience
- A higher level degree may substitute for experience
- Relevant work experience may substitute for required education
- Experience in deploying and maintaining SIEM solutions.
- Experience in privileged password management
- Knowledge of Identity Access Management & Data Loss Prevention
- Experience configuring IDS/IPS policies
- Coordinates the implementation of security counter-measures with the appropriate organizations.
- Performs vulnerability and configuration management scans and communicates results to system owners for remediation.
- Provides production support to security systems and tools used by Network Security Operations.
- Ensures compliance with security standards, policies and procedures.
- Adheres to industry specific local, state, and federal regulations, as applicable.
Preferred:
- ISSM CAP, CISSP, or CISM Certification
- ISSE CAP, CISSP-ISSEP Certification
- ISSO Security+, CISA, or CASP+ Certification
- MCSE, Linux, and/or CCNP Security Certification
- Knowledge of DoD, government contracting and/or public auditing, policies, standards, and procedures
- Experience implementing NIST SP 800-53 Revision 4 security requirements and NIST SP 800-53 A security assessment procedures.
- Experience implementing/maintaining NIST SP 800-172 security requirements and associated security assessment procedures
