Mobile App Development Manager

Job Summary: Apptricity Corporation is currently seeking a passionate Mobile Development Tech Lead to join our quickly growing company. In this role, you will support the planning, execution, and delivery of mobile solutions to Fortune 500 and government customers globally. This position will be involved with technology solutions that support Apptricity’s mission of providing state-of-the-art global asset management, inventory management, field services and IoT technology. The successful candidate will have experience managing mobile development teams while also demonstrating proficiency in iOS development and the ability to extend and troubleshoot platform specific issues. The candidate will demonstrate a good understanding of common design patterns, cross linking and importing of third-party libraries and SDKs, and code optimization. Supervisory Responsibilities: · Act as the tech lead for our growing mobile development team, interacting with web developers and product management to ensure our mobile applications are built for success · Interact with our third-party hardware manufacturers to stay up to date on scanning hardware SDKs and new product launches · Stay up to date on mobile OS updates and work with product management to determine a successful end-of-life support strategy Duties/Responsibilities: · Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release and support) · Produce fully functional mobile applications writing clean code. · Gather specific requirements and suggest solutions. · Write unit and UI tests to identify malfunctions. · Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance.
