Mobile Researcher (Android)

We’re looking for a Mobile Researcher to continuously enhance our capabilities in mobile fraud prevention, ensuring ongoing relevance in the market, developer and improve signals for the native Android mobile SDK, with potential extension to iOS if the candidate is capable.

Responsibilities:

• Extracting raw info from Android platform using developer APIs (potentially iOS as well, if a candidate has relevant experience).
• Applying your expertise to actively innovate and make our fraud prevention products/SDKs/APIs better and more secure. 
• Collaborating with the Web researchers to investigate findings in mobile browsers. 
• Working on tasks which are prioritized according to business needs.
• Exploring competitors’ fraud prevention products and analyzing/comparing its fraud-prevention capabilities.
• Documenting findings and writing non-production PoC code.

Requirements:

• Background or education in security.
• Hacking mindset or keen interest in security and fraud prevention
• Strong grasp of Android/mobile tech and security concepts.
• Experience in reverse-engineering or similar research projects.
• iOS/macOS experience is appreciated but not mandatory.

Compensation Range (US Based)

$170,000 - $210,000

For cash compensation, we set standard ranges for all US based roles based on function, level and geographic location, benchmarked against similar stage growth companies. In order to be compliant with local legislation, as well as to provide greater transparency to candidates, we share salary ranges on all job postings regardless of desired hiring location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including geographic location as well as candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
