THE ROLE:Â
We are looking for a Mobile Software Quality Engineer that will be responsible for ensuring our app is stable, bug-free, and performant for the hundreds of thousands of healthcare professionals that we serve. The position is based in Denver (remote considered).Â

What you’ll do:Â
- Gain a deep understanding of the mobile app architecture and the critical subsystems that it’s comprised of in order to better diagnose reported issuesÂ
- Become an expert in the third-party tools and services we use to troubleshoot, including industry standards like Sentry, Firebase, Fullstory, Segment, and moreÂ
- Master automated testing and build up our automated testing suite in Jest and DetoxÂ
- Manually verify functionality of bug fixes and sign off on new features before they are pushed out
- Act as first line of defense by triaging bug reports, investigating to find the root causes, and either resolving them or ticketing them for another engineer
THE TEAM:
Work alongside a growing and inclusive engineering team focused on delivering the best experience to our users. Our engineering team breaks out into focused, purpose-driven pods so that each individual has an opportunity to materially impact the company goals. We work in two-week sprints and meet regularly to discuss blockers and address needs from the team while making time to focus on our work by protecting everyone’s work schedules.
THE STACK:
We use React (web) / React Native (ios / android), NodeJS / Express (api server), npm / webpack / babel (packaging), Postgres / Sequelize (core data), AWS SQS (task queues), and Algolia (indexed data). Our code is deployed on Heroku and is mostly written in JavaScript though we use some Python. We strive to choose the right tool for the job & welcome new ideas.
THE REQUIRED SKILL SET:Â
- Familiarity with Javascript and/or TypescriptÂ
- Understanding of RESTful APIs
- Experience with React Native or React
THE SALARY, BENEFITS & PERKS:
The range for this position is $140,000 - $165,000 yearly salary, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education, and skills. This range is based on a full-time schedule.
