BAE Systems, one of the world's leading defense contractors and a stable Fortune 500 Company, is hiring a Project Coordinator at the Holston Army Ammunition Plant supporting Modernization Projects. The individual selected will support program management with the planning and execution of various projects.
Typical activities would include:
o Coordination between BAE Engineering, Contract Engineering, and various subcontractors
o Coordination of project material with regards to receipt and storage
o Work with Safety, Security, and Environmental to ensure all site policies are met
o Conduct pre-execution reviews with contractor, including drawing and construction site reviews
o Conduct inspections of subcontractor work to ensure execution is done in accordance with subcontract requirements
o Provide daily field support such as issuing permits and recording work activities

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
o Technical Associates Degree with 4 years related experience or High School Diploma or GED
with 8 years related experience required.
o Must have a background in industrial construction programs with regards to oversight, general inspections, and quality control.
o Must have a high level of attention to detail along with good organizational skills.
o Knowledge of typical industrial construction work tasks.
o Capable of reading and understanding drawings, specifications, and other engineering documents.
o Experience with supervision of craftsmen.
o Familiar with Environmental and Safety awareness for construction sites.
o Computer proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint and Internet.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
o Training / certifications in technical trades, subject matter expert in particular trade/trades related to industrial construction.
o Training / certifications with regards to Quality Control.
o Familiar with Microsoft Project.
o AutoCAD Experience.
o Familiar with local building codes and OSHA standards.
o Experience with chemical manufacturing or DOD projects a plus.
o Industrial experience preferred.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $64900 - $110400
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
