Modular Project Manager - Structural Engineer

About the position: Modular Project Manager

This unique opportunity will be collocated at the office of one of our strategic modular partners and focused on creating efficiency in workflow, improving quality and being the best in class in the volumetric modular industry. This role is accountable for building trust through effective communication, providing timely solutions to factory concerns and managing projects to successful outcomes.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Track and improve turnaround time for factory issues
2. Increase quality with a focus on process, workflow, and collaboration
3. Responsible for the development of structural systems and the technical content and quality control for projects 
4. Manage information in the drawings and deliver high quality projects on time and within budget
5. Use experience and advanced understanding of structural engineering design to provide value to the process
6. Constantly seek opportunities to improve

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree Required
2. MS degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management (structural engineering preferred)
3. PE Required
4. 1+ year experience designing volumetric modular highly preferred
5. 5+ years of experience in the structural design of concrete, steel, masonry, and wood frame structures 
6. 1+ year demonstrated success in managing project schedule, budget and quality
