Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various construction and fabrication techniques, demonstrating proficiency in both hand and power tools. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can read blueprints and schematics, ensuring that all projects meet the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship. The Fabricator will be responsible for working on diverse projects, contributing to the overall success of our operations. Duties • Fabricate components according to specifications and blueprints, ensuring precision and quality. • Perform construction tasks including framing, trim carpentry, and fixture installation. • Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various fabrication processes. • Engage in concrete forming, plastering, and masonry as required for specific projects. • Conduct rebar installation and metal stud framing to support structural integrity. • Participate in restoration projects, including water damage restoration and mold remediation. • Execute cabinet installation, door hanging, siding, roofing, and flooring installation tasks. • Read and interpret construction documents, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. • Collaborate with team members on-site to ensure timely project completion while adhering to safety protocols. • Assist with heavy lifting and moving materials as necessary throughout the fabrication process. Qualifications • Proven experience in the construction or restoration industry is preferred. • Strong skills in carpentry, woodworking, assembly, and fabrication techniques. • Familiarity with construction estimating processes is a plus. • Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks consistently. • Knowledge of plumbing, electrical work, tile laying, caulking, stucco application, and construction painting is advantageous. • Experience with CNC machinery is beneficial but not required. • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work. • Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients effectively. • A commitment to maintaining a safe work environment by following all safety guidelines.
