Molding Process Senior engineer

As Molding Process Sr engineer, you will play a key role in Aptiv's Manufacturing engineering Team, adopting good communication skills to Monitor Molding equipment/Process usage and identify opportunities for improvement, You will design, Implement and optimize manufacturing processes within automotive production environment, while ensuring efficiency, quality and high level of safety.

Your role:

• Equipment and tooling:
  • IMM installation debugging/Handover to the plant (New IMM and transfers)
  • Tooling debugging/Handover to the plant (New tools and transfers)
  • Molding equipment installation debugging/Handover to the plant.
  • Antaya Over-molding machines installation debugging/Handover to the plant.
  • Ensure Training to plant maintenance. (capability development)

• Continuous improvement :
  • Manufacturing performance CI projects: BOP execution and process card improvement.
  • IMM polyvalence matrix execution (IMM vs Tools).
  • Manufacturing daily support 4M analysis and problem solving.
• Operational project industrialization:
  • Business and equipment transfer
  • Capacity extension

Your Background :

• Hold an Engineering degree (Bac+5) with a specialization in Industrial or mechanical engineering
• Previous experience in Molding Process
• Experience and knowledge in manufacturing engineer key tools FMEA, BOM, CI.

• Understanding of Lean manufacturing processes
• Willingness to drive continuous improvements
• Very good oral and written communication skills in English
• Presentation skills
