About You 

You’ll be a seasoned Motion Graphics Designer, working in an agency, design studio, or similar creative setup with a portfolio packed with outstanding projects that have driven tangible results. You have experience working alongside Creative Directors and Creatives from the initial design stages of a project to delivery, with a broad range of animation styles at your disposal, enabling you to create dynamic and compelling films that push the boundaries of creativity, all while keeping an eye on commerciality.

You possess excellent proficiency in the Adobe Suite, particularly After Effects. Knowledge of other relevant software such as Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Audition is also desirable. Your expertise in motion graphics design, animation principles, and video editing should be evident, along with an intrinsic knowledge of typography, visual effects, and sound design

Main Activities and Tasks

• Create visually stunning motion graphics and animations for various digital media platforms
• Utilize software such as Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, and other relevant tools to design and execute captivating motion graphic projects
• Incorporate typography, visual effects, and sound design to enhance the overall impact and engagement of motion graphic content
• Adapt and optimize motion graphics for different screen sizes and resolutions to ensure seamless playback on various devices
• Demonstrate a keen eye for aesthetics and attention to detail, ensuring high-quality motion graphic deliverables that meet client requirements and exceed expectations
• Contribute to the creative process by bringing innovative ideas and creative solutions to the table
• Collaborate with the creative team, including graphic designers, video editors, and content creators, to conceptualize and storyboard motion graphic projects that align with brand guidelines and project objectives
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to project timelines, and delivering projects on time and within budget
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand project goals, gather feedback, and incorporate revisions to achieve the desired creative vision
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices, continuously refine skills, and explore new techniques to push the boundaries of motion graphics design.

Requirements

• A team player with a hands-on approach and a strong work ethic
• 3+ years experience with Adobe creative suite
• Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Exceptional creativity and innovation with a high level of accuracy and technical ability
• A strong understanding of post-production processes and the Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere/Audition in particular) is essential. Knowledge of Da-Vinci Resolve is desirable
• A good track record of delivering video content for aspirational brands
• Infuse all creative decisions with storytelling purpose and practical solutions
• A strong communicator with an ability to tailor your approach to both creative and analytical mindsets
• Ability to make rational decisions and exercise THG Studios BMP with integrity and accountability, while working in a fast-paced, high-demand, and sometimes strenuous environment
• Experience working in a team with multiple stakeholders
• Experience editing videos based on creative objectives with minimal direction
• Ability to balance multiple projects and deadlines, ensuring clear lines of communication with all parties (including content sign-off and reporting)
• Stay up-to-date on current trends, editing techniques, and styles, as well as content platforms
• Experience delivering content under tight deadlines, with the understanding that late night & weekend work may be required to achieve delivery requirements
• Can provide final delivery elements on time in various formats.
