Multi Spindle Screw Machine Operator

Summary: Operating multi spindle screw machines to machine metal bar stock pipe fittings. Essential Functions of the role: • Read and follow blueprints and shop orders for product specifications. • Stocking machines with raw material • Start machines, observe operations, and conduct inspections with precision measuring devices. • Conduct collet changes and adjustments, change cams, gears, and adjust tooling. • Operating bench grinders to sharpen tools and drills. Job Requirements: • Required- 3-5 years experience operating Multi Spindle Acme Gridley Screw Machines. • Required- Experience using precision measuring devices. • Experience conducting setups and adjustments on Multi Spindle Acme Gridley Screw Machines,a plus. • Mechanic experience,a plus. • Must be capable of lifting over 50 lbs. • Must be capable of bending, standing, and lifting throughout shift • Must be at least 18 years old • Minimum high school graduate or GED Job Type: Full-time Pay: $24.00 - $32.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: • 401(k) 3% Match • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off • Parental leave • Retirement plan • Vision insurance Schedule: • 10 hour shift • 4x10 • Day shift • No weekends • Overtime Supplemental Pay: • Overtime pay • Yearly bonus Education: • High school or equivalent (Required) Experience: • Manufacturing: 3 years (Required) • Blueprint reading: 2 years (Required) Ability to Relocate: • Addison, IL 60101: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
