We are an Australian music licensing startup providing unlimited access to high-quality music for storytellers. Clients include broadcasters, production companies, advertising agencies and content creators. Our catalogue features 25,000+ tracks & stems, alongside simple licensing & intuitive AI-powered search tools. We also offer an API providing unlimited, copyright safe music for creative platforms.

The Role:

We are seeking a motivated Music Coordinator to assist with the management of our world-class roster of composers and music. Reporting directly to our Operations Manager, the successful candidate will work across multiple technical and administrative areas with an experienced team of music and media industry professionals. The ideal candidate will be a lover of all things music and will have an in-depth understanding of the processes involved with music production, mixing and mastering.

What You’ll Bring to the Table:

• Meticulously maintaining our catalogue and databases, keeping all information up to date.
• Careful quality checking of musical files. Including processing of files in Pro Tools, ensuring musical/technical audio specifications are being met and potential mastering of musical works
• Careful file management from composer submissions through to final acquisition and publishing.
• Carrying out administrative tasks such as filename checks, uploads and metadata tagging.
• Carrying out Quality Assurance of metadata and music deliveries to various endpoints.
• Assisting A&R team with curation of musical feedback and composer requirements during the acquisition process.
• Assisting the Licensing and Account Management teams with music curation and support, creating playlists and music suggestions for clients.
• Meeting agreed KPIs whilst always maintaining our high standards.
• Logistical and administrative support.
• Creating audio edits for social media

Core Competencies & Skills

• A broad knowledge of musical genres and the ability to discuss music using specialist language.
• Broad technical knowledge of Pro Tools (preferred) or equivalent industry standard DAW.
• Broad technical knowledge of Izotope RX and related audio processing tools and plugins.
• Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Advanced knowledge and skills with administrative tools: G Suite, Microsoft Office, Monday.com and Slack.
• Strong communicator and relationship builder with great written skills.
• Able to prioritise and meet deadlines. Self-motivated, innovative, resourceful and fun.
• Past experience in music / label administration is a big plus.
