At Pontera, we have a B2B2C model where we serve financial advisors so that they can help individual investors achieve better retirement outcomes. We coordinate our go-to-market effort with partner broker-dealers, RIAs, banks, and other enterprise wealth managers with whom our advisor-clients are affiliated. As a National Account Manager, your role will be to activate, own, and expand relationships with these partners to drive sales and revenue growth. The role is highly strategic, and involves coordinating firm resources across marketing, sales, product, and customer success to drive revenue, avoid churn, and ultimately drive channel revenue. - Build and manage relationships with C-level executives at our most important channel relationships to drive channel revenue growth
- Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, product, and customer success to build and execute channel go-to-market strategies and ensure partner success
- Map complex client organizations, develop deep expertise of their inner workings to ensure exceeds their expectations
- Meet with Partners and Advisors, participate in joint sales calls to end users and assist the Partner/Advisors in closing opportunities
- Coordinate Partner access to Field Marketing and any overlay resources as appropriate
- Set channel KPIs, monitor and report on success, run partner quarterly business reviews (QBRs), and forecast channel revenue
- Improve channel productivity by continuously testing and refining our marketing strategy (collateral, positioning, press, events), account management processes, and product features
- Attend channel partner events and conferences to promote our products and deepen relationships
- 5+ year’s professional experience in the channel with channel partners
- Advanced understanding of wealth management firms, products, and partnerships
- Collaborative team player, able to coordinate internal stakeholders and gain buy-in
- Highly entrepreneurial, creative, and opportunistic
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentation), comfortable interacting directly with C-level executives
- High empathy, with a demonstrated ability to build professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Self-motivated with ability to work in fast paced, changing environment
- A sense of urgency, persistence, scrappiness, grit

- Familiarity with Salesforce, Gong, Outreach, and Hubspot
- Expertise in wealth management and fintech
- MBA is a plus
- Ability to travel (up to 20%)
- Compensation: Base Salary $95K - $130K, OTE dependent on experience
