Pay Range

$129,100.00-$177,500.00 Annual

This is the base salary pay range that an applicant can expect to make upon hire. Pay within this range will vary based upon relevant experience, skills, and education among other factors. In addition, this position is eligible for an incentive bonus. 

The National Contractor Manager, plays a pivotal role in driving strategic partnerships and fostering long-term relationships with large independent contractors and key industry associations. This position is instrumental in shaping and executing JM's market strategies, ensuring competitive advantage and sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Business Development: Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities to enhance JM's market presence.
  • Market Intelligence & Forecasting: Lead category management efforts by analyzing market trends and developing strategic forecasts to inform business planning.
  • Competitive Strategy Analysis: Evaluate and communicate competitors' strategies to inform JM's competitive positioning.
  • Strategic Planning & Execution: Collaborate with the Director of Sales and Regional Sales Managers to develop and implement strategic business plans.
  • Industry Leadership: Serve as an industry expert and thought leader, providing vision and strategic direction.
  • Advocacy & Representation: Champion the voice of independent contractors within JM, ensuring their needs and perspectives are integrated into strategic decisions.
  • Pricing Strategy Implementation: Develop and implement pricing strategies, supporting the sales team in key customer interactions.
  • Risk Management: Anticipate and mitigate competitive reactions to JM's strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 10 years of sales experience. 
  • Extensive experience in building products.
  • Exceptional leadership and strategic thinking skills.
  • Proven analytical and market intelligence capabilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong ability to interface at all organizational levels, both internally and externally.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (30+ days per year).

Work Environment:

  • Primary work environment is an office setting, with occasional fieldwork at customer facilities or job sites.
  • May be exposed to various environmental conditions and required to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 pounds.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to drive a vehicle.
