National Resident RN East Valley (Mercy Gilbert & Chandler Regional)

Responsibilities As a Nurse Resident, or New Grad RN, you’ll make the transition from practicing procedures as a student to becoming a professional nurse. You’ll build trust with your clinical preceptor and patients as you practice classroom concepts in real-time. Our residency program establishes your position as a reliable resource and helpful supporter of patients and families. We’ll teach you everything you need to know about working at our hospital, making this a perfect starting point to launch your nursing career. • You’re in patient rooms, quickly rotating between immediate needs and check-ins to provide patient care while being monitored by your preceptor • Open to learning more about the business and operational practices in our facility • Develop patient advocate skills through observance and practice • Build your nursing skills as you learn to put your education into practice with actual patients Start of Program 10.27.2025 Qualifications Minimum • Completion of board approved nursing program. • AZ or Compact RN License- you must have a current RN license the week prior to program start date • Current Healthcare Provider AHA BLS completion card.
