Job Description

MomentRanks is expanding our content team and looking for blog writers who write creative, engaging, and informative copy for our blog, focused on NBA Top Shot, with opportunities to write about other NFTs. This candidate will have opportunities to write about Top Shot analysis, data, news, or a mix of all three.
 
Ideally, we are looking for people who have a passion for combining creativity and the power of blockchain technology to push boundaries and introduce new users to the space with captivating copy and narratives.



Responsbilities
  • Creative ideation of content to execute on the MomentRanks blog
  • Draft compelling, creative and unique copy pertaining to NBA Top Shot (or potentially other NFTs)
  • Collaborate with a team of creatives to spearhead MomentRanks' blog coverage of Top Shot storylines and analysis
  • Work closely with an editor(s) to see your story to publishing
  • Read widely and understand the competition
  • Assist in the execution of content vision



Requirements
  • Have an open and curious mind about NBA Top Shot and NFTs
  • Understand and analyze news and trends in the Top Shot ecosystem
  • Some experience in writing or editing published content (preferably in sports, crypto, etc.) ... extensive experience is not required
  • Write articles between 500 and 2,000 words at least once per week (or more!)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Self-starter who executes on ideas
  • Proactive team player
  • Familiarity with AP style and SEO (desired, not required)
