Job Description
PLEASE NOTE: This is a 100% remote role.  At this time we are placing a preference on nearshore candidates who can work at least 6 hours overlapping with the US CT zone during normal business hours. Bitovi is seeking a Senior Product Designer to join us in solving business and user problems with creative and effective needs-driven design. This role is to start as an hourly contractor on a client project. Pending the initial project goes well there is an opportunity to extend the role as an hourly position or transition to a longer-term role.
WHO YOU ARE You’ll be a consultant working directly with our clients and other Bitovians on projects. As a consultant working remotely you’ll excel as a self-starter identifying what needs to be done making a plan and doing it. You’ll augment your creativity with research data to help solve business and user problems and bring your insights to product strategy. Your iterative low-to-high fidelity process will be grounded in testing.
You’ll excel with Bitovi if you have:

5+ years of experience designing applications
-
A portfolio showcasing transformative results on enterprise clients
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
-
A deep skillset with Figma and versatility across other design tools
-
Experience with consulting or agency work for clients is an asset
Location: Remote based in Latin America or close and able to work a minimum of 6 hours overlapping with Central Time business hours.  Occasional travel may be required but it is rare.
WHAT YOU'LL DO IN THE ROLE You’ll work directly with our clients embedding into their teams and learning about their needs. You’ll provide product design expertise both as consultative recommendations and in the execution of those recommendations. The bulk of your day will be spent on:

End-to-end product design including research product strategy information architecture user experience design user testing prototyping and user interface design

Identifying tasks required to create product solutions that meet business objectives and customer needs prioritizing and managing your schedule to complete tasks

Creating consulting on and leveraging design systems

Interviewing collaborating and presenting as an embedded part of client teams

Working closely with product developers and other designers
