Job Description

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Experienced network professional to administer local, wide-area and Wi-Fi networks. The Network Administrator will configure and support modems, firewalls, routers, switches, load balancers and other network devices. This position is also responsible for maintaining internal and external DNS and digital security certificates, as well as supporting email systems.

  • All aspects of systems infrastructure for directory services and identity management systems (e.g., multi-factor authentication, single sign-on, and certificate management systems) and enterprise IT services (e.g., web, email, Microsoft 365, data analytics)
  • Network firewalls and other security appliances, and secure communications including VPN technologies.
  • Fully support, configure, maintain and upgrade corporate customer’s networks and in house servers
  • Assist with the management, planning, and deployment of infrastructure security measures.
  • Assist in the design, maintenance, development, and evaluation of all infrastructure systems, including LANs, WANs, Internet, intranet, security, wireless implementations, compute devices, and telephone/VoIP systems.
  • Support and administer third-party applications
  • Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency) and test for weaknesses
  • Daily monitoring, technical support, and administration of systems, networks, servers, and communications.
  • Assist with planning and implementing systems and network integrations following M&A activity.

Qualifications

MUST HAVES

  • 4-year Bachelor’s degree OR 2-year Associates degree in computer science, information science, management information systems, or related field, with equivalent work experience
  • 2 years of hands on experience working with enterprise network-related technologies including but not limited to Cisco Meraki, Mitel Cloud, Juniper, Microsoft 365

NICE TO HAVES

  • Excellent knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of server infrastructure
  • Experience setting up virtual network, cloud-based infrastructure (AWS/Azure) from start to finish.
  • Any of the following certifications: MCSE, MCSA, MCITP, Network+, Security+, CCNA, CCIE, CISSP, Certified Network Computer Technician, CCT, CompTia Network+, VCP
