Role Summary
Specializes in applying knowledge of experimental methodologies, statistics, optimization, probability theory, and machine learning, using code for tool building, statistical analysis and modeling, using both general purpose software and statistical languages.
Key Responsibilities
- Hands-on knowledge of computer networks and tools used for network traffic analysis
- Ideally also understanding of telco specific network protocols (SS7, Diameter, SIP, GTP, HTTP2, ...)
- Analytical thinking
- Experience with data mining, knowledge of database technologies (no-sql databases)
- (power-)user/admin-level knowledge of Linux OS
- Understanding of virtualization and containerization
- Ability to create scripts in languages such as Python, LUA, Bash
- Upper intermediate English
