Neurocritical Care and Intensivist Rapid Response - Physician - Oceanside and Manhattan, NY

The Institute for Critical Care Medicine and the Department of Neurosurgery at the Mount Sinai Health System is seeking a Full-Time Neurocritical Care Physician to join the Mount Sinai South Nassau Hospital in Oceanside and Intensivists to join its expanding team to attend on the Rapid Response Team at Mount Sinai Hospital!

MSH: While working in conjunction with several consulting practitioners, as well as several other administrative staff members, the ideal candidates will play an instrumental role in ensuring excellent patient care, quality outcomes, and satisfaction as well as oversee other inpatient services. In addition, we would like our talented physician candidates to have a passion for academic, inpatient medicine and be fully committed to mission of Mount Sinai Health System. Candidates should be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Critical Care Medicine or Equivalent.

Mount Sinai South Nassau is located in Oceanside, Long Island.The selected candidate will be an outstanding, highly collaborative clinician who has completed a Neurocritical care fellowship and is board-certified or board-eligible in Neurocritical care. This candidate will be fully committed to the mission of the Mount Sinai Health System and play an instrumental role in ensuring excellent patient care, quality outcomes, and satisfaction. Mount Sinai South Nassau also operates Long Island’s only free-standing, 9-1-1 receiving Emergency Department, located in Long Beach. In addition to its extensive outpatient specialty centers, Mount Sinai South Nassau provides emergency and elective angioplasty, as well as being a designated Stroke Center by the New York State Department of Health and Comprehensive Community Cancer Center by the American College of Surgeons and an accredited center of the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Association and Quality Improvement Program. The hospital has been awarded the Joint Commission’s gold seal of approval for disease-specific care for heart failure, primary stroke, hip replacement, knee replacement, wound care, bariatric surgery, and end-stage renal disease, and recently was re-accredited as one of first programs in the US by the Infectious Diseases Society of America as a Center of Excellence for Antimicrobial Stewardship.

MSSN has a large critical care and elderly patient population and a very busy hematology / oncology service as part of our renowned Feil Cancer Center, which works closely with the TCI Cancer Program at Mount Sinai.

Compensation range from 300K to 375K (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits)
