Neurologist (part-time)

San Mateo Medical Center (SMMC) is a public hospital and clinic system that includes an extensive primary care network, an acute care hospital, medical and surgical sub-specialty services, and long-term care.

As part of San Mateo County Health, the medical center serves the healthcare needs of all residents of San Mateo County, with an emphasis on education and prevention.

We are seeking a part-time BE/BC Neurologist to join our team to cover outpatient clinics and inpatient consultations, with occasional need for procedures such as lumbar punctures. Ideal candidate can read EEGs and have experience and interest in EMG. 

Preference is given to candidates who manifest flexibility and a strong work ethic. SMMC offers competitive compensation packages that are customized to fit the need of the individual physician. 

Job description:

• Contract, part-time
• 2-4 half-day clinics a week
• Call optional
• Hourly compensation range $225-$240

Minimum Requirements:

• Board Certification or eligibility in Neurology
• Active and unrestricted California license
