Job Description

The Fayetteville, NC Veterans Affairs Medical Center is recruiting a Neurologist!

You will provide expert consultation and treatment to patients referred to the outpatient and inpatient Neurology Service. Neurologists are

responsible for patients in the outpatient general neurology consult and follow-up clinics and providing inpatient consultation to the acute medical and intensive care units. The outpatient clinics will consist of both in-person and virtual clinics.

You will provide consultative evaluations and treatments to patients referred from other sections of the hospital. Patients seen in the Neurology Consult Clinic are evaluated and treated for disorders such as Headache, Peripheral Neuropathy, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Neck/Back

Pain, seizures and Tremor. You will perform neurologic procedures, such as NCS/EMG; EEG interpretation; and/or Botox administration.

Education Debt Reduction Program (Student Loan Repayment): Position eligible for up to $200,000 over 5 years with a maximum of $40K

per year.
