Job Description
Lexington Clinic is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to join a busy Practice in Lexington. This is an outpatient opportunity, Monday β Friday unless on weekend call. The average daily patient volume per day is 14 to 16. This APP will work 2 days in Clinic and 3 days in the OR. Summary of Role
As an Advanced Practice Provider (APP), you will closely partner with physicians to deliver high-quality, compassionate care.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Perform medical services and procedures within the scope of your medical license.
- Conduct patient histories and physicals
- Interpret clinical data and develop care plans
- Recommend and coordinate diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Support treatment management and follow-up care
- Build meaningful relationships with patients, families, and colleagues
- Maintain all requirements to maintain the license including CMEs.
- Collaborate with facility staff and interdisciplinary teams
- Educate patients and families about treatment options and care goals
- Ensure a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for patients

Preferred Qualifications
- Masterβs degree in Nursing from an accredited program; current APRN licensure in good standing (Kentucky or applicable state)
- OR graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program with NCCPA certification and Kentucky state licensure (or eligibility)
- Prior Neurology experience preferred
- Current Healthcare Provider CPR certification required
