Hybrid Opportunity – East Bay / Solano Counties
$45–$53/hr | Bilingual Bonus | Nonprofit | Medi-Cal SUD Programs

We’re seeking a Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA) with experience in substance use disorders and co-occurring care. This is a hybrid clinical position with flexible scheduling potential in residential and outpatient treatment settings across Contra Costa, Alameda, and Solano Counties.

You’ll be working as part of a mission-driven team dedicated to providing compassionate, culturally relevant treatment services for adults struggling with addiction and other behavioral health challenges.

Position Summary

As the LPHA, you’ll:

• Assess, diagnose, and determine medical necessity and level of care using DSM-5 and ASAM Criteria
• Conduct individual and group counseling (in-person and virtual, as applicable)
• Collaborate with SUD counselors and multidisciplinary staff
• Ensure documentation meets DHCS and Medi-Cal standards
• Assist with mental health interventions and referrals as needed
• Participate in ongoing quality improvement and team development

Qualifications
This can be for: Entry- level to experienced LPHAs looking to move to addiction (LCSW, LMFT  or LPCC required). Training available for those interested in learning more about addiction, whether you're new to the specialty or looking to expand your skills.

• Entry- level to experienced LPHAs but must be licensed as LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or equivalent LPHA in California
• Strong familiarity with ASAM, DSM-5, and Medi-Cal documentation standards
• Comfortable with group and individual work in hybrid (in-person/telehealth) settings
• Spanish-speaking applicants encouraged (bilingual compensation available)
• Valid CA driver’s license and ability to pass background, physical, and drug screening
• Addiction experience not required, will train.
