Night Supervisor

Pritchard Industries is seeking to hire aNight Supervisor. TheNight Supervisorserves as a key role and a member of The Arthur Jackson Company. This position will be responsible for successfully delegating all the activities through day shift employees and jumping in as needed. The Supervisor will be able to conduct light ,maintenance duties, daily orders and coordinate activities. Responsibilities: • Meet with the Property Manager to discuss any building related matters • Discuss any employee related issues with Arthur Jackson Operation Manager, District Manager, and Human Resources. • Supervise day shift employees and monitor daily employee task. • Plan, organize, direct and control the workflow at their assigned location are effective and efficient, including rearranging janitorial staff assignments to provide coverage for employees' vacations, personal days and absenteeism. • Train employees from time to time. • Flexibility (i.e. filling in for callouts) • Able to perform light maintenance duties. • Track daily supplies. • Oversee trash remove and exterminating. • Supervise a team of employees. • Follow Safety Procedures. • Continued, working knowledge of chemical and equipment usage and building policies. • Evaluate employees work performance. Discuss work related problems and counsel employees when necessary. Initiate Corrective Action/Disciplinary Procedure when necessary. • Respond with urgency when emergency calls are received or situations arise such as floods arise, etc., at your assigned buildings. Ensure employees are scheduled and equipment is available and ready to be used. • Treat your Client/Project Managers, Tenants and employees with courtesy and respect. • Comply with all Arthur Jackson Company's and Client policy and procedures. Will partner with Human Resources on specific matters that may arise. Physical Demands: • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee frequently is required to walk: use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand. The employee must frequently lift lift or move objects up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift or move objects up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job, include close vision, distance vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus. Qualifications: • Must have a high school diploma or G.E.D • Must have a minimum of 2 years of college- Preferred • Must have 2 or more years supervisory experience- Preferred • Must have 3-5 years of Maintenance, Customer Service or Sales Experience • Technical Capacity • Problem Solving/Analysis • Communication Proficiency/Interpersonal Skills • Professionalism, Responsibility • Team Building • Housekeeping Equipment & Cleaning Expertise • Supervisor Skills & Leadership Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday, 4:00pm - 12:30pm Benefits: • Salary: $60,000 - $70,000/year • Bonus eligible • Paid holidays and vacation time. • Health Benefits Package • Ancillary benefits—Life insurance, Long Term Disability, FSA, and Dependent Spending care • 401K • Opportunity for growth Pritchard Industries participates in E-Verify.
